Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 90(2011 February)
This has hardly budged since I originally reviewed it with the same nose of deeply pitched plum and violet aromas that are nuanced with roasted earth notes that lead to dusty, firm and sweet medium full flavors that culminate in an impressively well balanced and nicely intense finish. One change though is that the supporting tannins are notably more prominent and I have not only upgraded the potential quality but also have extended the initial drinking window.
